TELIPOK: SK Tampulan's best achievements at various international Short Film Festivals need the support of facilities from various tourism-related parties to develop products to help promote the uniqueness of Sabah.

Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) Sabah Vice President Kapitan Stephen Teo said the creativity and expertise of the school can be an asset to Sabah and Malaysia to highlight its biodiversity to the world.

"Our survey at SK Tampulan shows that the school has the expertise and consistency to produce various short films for various world-level festival competitions but lacks facilities," said Stephen.

Stephen, who is also the Head of STAR Karambunai Division, stated that his party will discuss with Sabah Tourism Board Chairman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai who is also the Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Environment to help the production of the school's short film.

According to Stephen, the facilities needed are a studio, audio-visual equipment, and clothing for the students' characters in the filming.
